Tacoma-based Korsmo Construction has been selected by the Clover Park School District to build two new elementary schools on the grounds of Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The GC/CM construction contract value is approximately $48 million.
The schools – Clarkmoor and Greenwood – will total more than 146,000 square feet and will house 1100 students in grades K-5.
Greg Primm, VP / Project Director for Korsmo Construction says preconstruction work is under way for both schools. Construction is expected to take 12 months with the buildings completed in time for the 2014-15 school year.
Integrus Architecture and OAC will provide design and project management services.
