New Head Coach Selected for Bonney Lake Football
Jason Silbaugh, football defensive coordinator for Lakes High School, is the recommended candidate for Head Football coach at Bonney Lake High School for the 2012 season.
Bonney Lake High School and the Sumner School District Athletic Department have selected Lakes' Jason Silbaugh as the recommended candidate for head football coach at for the 2012 season.
Silbaugh would replace head football coach Chad Barrett,
Silbaugh is currently the defensive coordinator for Lakes High School, a position he has held for the past eight seasons. Silbaugh is also an assistant track and field at Lakes High School. He has previous coaching experience at the University of Puget Sound and Puyallup High School. Silbaugh also serves as an assistant track coach at Lakes High School.

Silbaugh's contract is pending final approval by the Sumner School Board at their May 9 meeting.
There were over 28 applicants for the head coach position. Silbaugh was recommended by a hiring committee of parents, students, staff and administrators.
