Sporty Diva's Half Marathon, 15k, 10k and 5k Memorial Run for Mary

As a passionate and motivated fitness enthusiast I love to help people with their fitness goals and I have learned that we are all in this life together.

Registration for Sporty Diva Events will not exceed 40 participants and are designed to encourage, motivate and inspire the first time athlete and or people who are returning to fitness in a fun, friendly and supportive//non-competitive race environment.

There are times when an unfathomable tragedy happens to someone who is a friend.
Mary Mushapaidzi was murdered in her home by her boyfriend on October 8, 2011.
The argument-fight allegedly started over dirty dishes and escalated from there resulting in her death.
Mary was a dedicated, radiant and beautiful mother, friend and runner and leaves behind two children~ Ashley and Panashe. Ashley is two and will be living with her grandmother on the east coast. Panashe is eight and will reside in the Tacoma area with his father.
Mary's co-workers and friends at Payless Shoes sponsored a clothing and toy drive to help with Ashley and Panashe's immediate needs.  But so much more help is needed.
Proceeds from this event will help provide financial assistance for Ashley and Panashe's daily needs.
