Lakes Hip Hop Dance Team Wins Championship
Lancers perform during inaugural dance event at Bonney Lake High School this weekend.
The Lakes hip hop dance team turned out the best rhythmically choreographed performance during the inaugural Washington State Dance Drill District Qualifying Invitational at Bonney Lake High School on Saturday by winning the championship.
The Lancers' pom team placed fifth, respectively.
Fifteen 15 schools and nearly 300 participants in five different dance categories. There were 24 judged performances in the Mardi Gras Madness themed event.
