Fargo, ND-A Lakewood wrestler captured first place at one of the country's most competitive tournaments Tuesday.
Kiaya Van Scoyoc, who wrestles for Lakes, took first in the 172-pound division of the 2013 USAW Junior Women's Freestyle Nationals.
She captured the title with a technical pin over Stepahnie Pantoja of Florida.
