Movie In the Park

- When/Where: 9:30 p.m. Friday at Curran Apple Orchard, 3920 Grandview Dr. W. in University Place.
- Why Go: Kick back at dusk for "Puss In Boots," presented by University Place Parks & Recreation.
- Cost: Free
- When/Where: 10 a.m. to dusk (and then fireworks) Saturday; noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Volunteer Park in Key Center near Lakebay.
- Why Go: The two-day event, sponsored by Peninsula Light, will feature Keys Got Talent, Krazy Key Parade, fireworks and even a boat show. For more information on the events, visit the KeyFest website.
- Cost: Free

- When/Where: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in downtown Sumner
- Why Go: The second-annual community event has expanded to a two-day celebration of rhubarb that will feature community performances, contests, scavenger hunts, pie and more.
- Cost: Free
Museum of Glass 10th anniversary
- When/Where: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at 1801 Dock Street in Tacoma.
- Why Go: In honor of the museum's 10th anniversary, there will be reduced admission prices to see international glass and the Hot Shop team in action.
- Cost: $10 for adults; children 12 and under are free.
- When/Where: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday along Lafayette Street in Steilacoom. The show starts near the ferry terminal on Union Street.
- Why Go: Fabulous cars, a pancake breakfast and hot dogs on the grill are just some of the reasons why this event is a popular one in Steilacoom.
- Cost: Free to attend; $20 to participate. All funds go to the Steilacoom Historical Education Foundation.
