The Lakewood shop is one of 14 owned by Gravelly Lake resident Dennis "Bucky" Austin, who has been in the business for 40 years. While their expertise is in custom-installed brakes, mufflers and cooling systems, the crew at Bucky's also work on clutches, c.v. joints, front ends, shocks and suspensions and they also do routine maintenance like oil changes and tune-ups. No appointment is necessary.  The Lakewood shop has a large military clientele and offers a military discount. Dead on the road?  Bucky's offers free tow-in service within 50 miles.
