Panda Express

Panda Express is one of a chain of restaurants which was a pioneer in merging two great American loves — fast food and Chinese takeout.  Panda's 1,197 locations make it the largest, and certainly the most ubiquitous, chain of Chinese restaurants in the country. The uniformity of its pagoda-shaped stores and wok cooking make eating Chinese a quick, pleasant experience.  The Lakewood store anchors a choice corner in the Lakewood Towne Center, and it is strikingly decorated with red Chinese paper lanterns and panda paintings in various styles. The restaurant has 17 tables inside, and an outdoor patio seats a small party comfortably. Food is served cafeteria style, starting with rice, then entrees, sauces, sides like egg rolls and potstickers, and tea. Some dishes are spicy, and they're marked with warning symbols.
