Established in 1994, The Beer Essentials is family owned and operated. Located near McChord AFB, it features recipes and all the ingredients necessary to make brand-name beers or to create your own. The staff is helpful and very knowledgeable. The shop is easily identified by the 20-foot-tall hops plant growing outside.
