Neva Gerke, Neighbor

I grew up in Wyoming and enlisted in the Marine Corps right out of high school where I later earned a commission as an officer.  Leading Marines was the greatest honor I was ever given and I appreciated each and every day of it. In 2006, my family and I relocated to Washington where I worked in management.  

I am married to Chris Gerke, an amazing firefighter and we have two wonderful sons.  My favorite part about the Pacific Northwest is the beautiful scenery, and I love race-walking on the Foothills Trail.  You may see me and my boys walking along with our Bernese mountain dog enjoying what ever season may be upon us!

Besides chasing after my boys and puppy, I enjoy quilting, studying history and family heritage, reading historical novels, and volunteering in each of my kids' schools.
