Born and raised in the North End of Tacoma, Patricia graduated from Wilson High School as a devoted Ram. She raised three children as a single mother often working two jobs to make ends meet. Patricia moved to University Place in 1997 and has loved living here ever since. After getting married to her wonderful husband Wayne, she convinced him to move to University Place also. Patricia has over twenty years experience in sales and marketing and holds an associate’s degree in media relations and marketing from Clover Park Technical College and a diploma from the College For Congregational Development where she studied Leadership and Behavior Science. She has her own business; www.patriciaandco.com and is a marketing consultant for several clients. Her largest client is the University Place Community Supported Parks and Recreation where she plans events, does fundraising and meets with business owners and community members each day about the benefits of helping disadvantaged youth and senior citizens in our community.
Patricia is also a grandmother of four grandchildren and enjoys studying the history of Tacoma, going to estate sales and writing in her spare time. She has been active in the Tacoma Historical Society since it began in 1990 and currently serves as a Leader for Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church.
