Per the News Tribune, four teachers are being laid off and perhaps 95 more. Since 1980, the number of kids in public school has remained the same. Since 1980 the number of teacher/admin has gone up 65%. The teachers union continually loads up on staff and continually loads up on payroll. Those numbers and the fact that you cant hold any teacher accountable for their performance is the problem with public education today.
